The FAN 7548 implements a high-efficiency CCFL backlight power supply in a small footprint 20 SSOP package. Device Features Two-stage independent resonant tank control for multi-lamp designs. Reduced external parts count and system cost by integrating features such as feedback-controlled PWM driver bench, soft start, turn-on lamp regulation, turn-on lamp protection, UV low-E and self-synchronizing circuits between Buck and Royer stages . It includes an internal shunt regulator that allows it to operate from 9 volts to 30 volts at the input. Analog and pulsed dimming modes of operation are supported. It provides open light regulation, as well as open light protection
