illustrate
FMS6417A is a set-top box or DVD application. The section consists of three 6th order filters with selectable 30MHz or 8MHz frequencies and dual filters with composite sharp and modulated channels to filter Y, C with acoustic notch and FCC group delay compensation. This modulator provides notch and FCC group delay compensation for NTSC. Provides a 2-to-1 multiplexer on the triple filter, as well as provision for the auxiliary input to the composite channel. Triad filter for YUV or RGB signals. All channels accept AC or DC coupled ground referenced 1V signals. The filter outputs a 2Vpp signal to an AC-coupled terminal load. The low pass filter is powered by 3.3V, the modulator and outputs 5.0V.

General
FMS6417A is a set-top box or DVD application. The section consists of three 6th order filters with selectable 30MHz or 8MHz frequencies and dual filters with composite sharp and modulated channels to filter Y, C with acoustic notch and FCC group delay compensation. This modulator provides sound slotting and FCC group delay compensation for NTSC. Provides 2-to-1 multiplexer triple filters as well as composite channels. Triple filter applies to or RGB signals. All channels accept DC-coupled ground-referenced 1V signals. The filter outputs the 2Vpp signal to the AC coupling to complete the loading. The low pass filter consists of 3.3V and the modulator output is 5.0V. The FMS6417A is a next-generation filter solution semiconductor from Fairchild that meets the extended filtering needs of set-top boxes and DVD players. The product offers selectable filtering at 30MHz or 8MHz on the RGB channels. Therefore, the FMS6417A meets the requirements of a single set-top box and is compatible with various resolution standards. In addition, this product is a Y, C, CV and output modulator. Multiplexers on RGB and CV channels provide further flexibility. For DVD applications, the product provides filtering and output 7-way output driver amplification. These include R, G, B, Y, C, CV and modulator outputs. For set-top boxes, this product provides 2 video channels to be filtered, as well as optional high-level flexibility to filter multi-resolution standards. Additional flexibility is provided by additional Y, C filters and composite summer. All channels provide 6dB gain, accept 1V ground referenced inputs, and drive AC-coupled loads. R, G, B, Y filters C and CV channels are powered by 3.3V supply channel modulator and 5V output. Modulator channels have notch and FCC group delay compensation settings for NTSC specifications.
