Maxim's digital temperature sensors can be used in a wide variety of temperature sensing and control applications and are available in a variety of design options. These solutions provide detailed design information and circuits to build thermal sensing signal chains using the most popular thermal sensors. Typically, the first step in designing a thermal sensing and control system is to determine the sensed temperature range and operating environment. The next step is to select the thermal sensor.
