Apollo S10 SOM, P0630

The Apollo S10 System-on-Module (SOM) is designed for modular and scalable high-performance FPGA prototyping and high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. The Apollo S10 SOM packs unparalleled performance and energy efficiency into a small form factor. It outperforms CPUs by up to 90 times for critical workloads such as simulation acceleration, molecular dynamics, and machine learning.

The Apollo S10 SOM utilizes the latest Intel® Stratix® 10 SoC with 2800 K logic elements for speed and power breakthroughs (up to 70% lower power consumption). The board combines several high-end hardware interfaces such as high-capacity and high-bandwidth DDR4 SDRAM (up to 32 GB), onboard USB-Blaster™ II, and FMC/FMC+ connectors for I/O expansion to provide more Features 2x the performance of previous generation development kits.

Apollo S10 SOM is also scalable. The Apollo carrier board is designed to help Terasic customers develop the Apollo S10 SOM. The carrier board features two ultra-low latency direct connect, 40 Gbps QSFP+ modules and Thunderbolt™ 3 to evaluate I/O planned for the system and build custom systems around it.
