Designed for extreme operating conditions, digital signal controllers provide real-time response, high performance and high reliability. Commonly found in dsPIC33s, it can transfer power wirelessly, charge batteries, convert power rails and drive motors in pumps, fans or power windows. These products are backed by a range of hardware features and a complete collateral and software ecosystem including FMEDA, safety manuals and diagnostic software to achieve ISO-26262 functional safety compliance.

dsPIC33 DSCs are designed for robust and reliable automotive applications. They provide reliable communication via CAN-FD, CAN and LIN interfaces. They are AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified and designed to operate at +150°C for operation in extreme under-the-hood environments. Microchip's development tools, reference designs and application notes are available to quickly jump-start user designs in power conversion, wireless charging and motor control applications.
