Weltrend WT6615F is a USB PD controller that supports PD 3.0 fast charging scheme specification and Qualcomm QC3.0 and QC4 technologies, and supports DFP downstream port (source) charging applications. The highly integrated WT6615F can be used in adapters, car chargers, power banks and other devices. At the same time, the Weltrend WT6615F supports the latest Programmable Power Supply (PPS) specification of USB PD, which is commonly used in direct charging solutions for mobile devices. The Weltrend WT6615F integrates USB PD baseband physical layer, Type-C cable detection, shunt regulator, voltage and current detection, MOSFET controller for load switch and 8-bit microprocessor. The small package provided by the Weltrend WT6615F simplifies peripheral components and provides overall cost advantages. The Weltrend WT6615F has a built-in voltage regulator that supports the supply voltage range of 3 to 30V without the need for an external voltage regulator. The built-in memory can be used for editing programs and user setting data. USB Type-C downstream port (source), USB PD revision 3.0 baseband communication, built-in shunt regulator and support for 3V to 21V VBUS output, provides fine output voltage regulation, constant voltage and constant current output, programmable overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and overtemperature protection. Low-side voltage output current monitor, supports BC1.2, dedicated charging port (DCP), Qualcomm QC3.0 and QC4. Support fast charging and intelligent charging protocol, support MIPI battery interface V1.1 (BIF), 10 bit ADC precision voltage and current detection, built-in 8-bit microcontroller core, built-in memory can be programmed multiple times. Realize power transmission message protocol and device strategy, VBUS output control, built-in discharge MOS, external MOS switch control, general-purpose I/O for easy debugging, support UART serial interface for easy parameter reading, support energy-saving mode, save energy when not connected to the device electricity.
