TLA2518 Small 8-channel 12-bit ADC with SPI interface and GPIO
Texas Instruments (TI) ADCs have programmable averaging filters that output 16-bit results for enhanced resolution
Image of Texas Instruments' (TI) TLA2518 8-channel 12-bit ADC Texas Instruments' (TI) TLA2518 is an easy-to-use 8-channel, multiplexed, 12-bit, 1 MSPS successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). Eight channels can be independently configured as a combination of up to eight analog inputs, digital inputs or digital outputs. The device has an internal oscillator for the ADC conversion process.
The TLA2518 communicates over an SPI-compatible interface and supports averaging of multiple data samples in a single conversion. A built-in programmable averaging filter helps reduce noise on the analog input and reduces the number of data samples the host needs to read.
