The BD71850MWV integrates all the power rails required by the i.MX 8M Nano processor and system peripherals. It also integrates a sequencer compatible with the power modes supported by the i.MX 8M Nano processor, which can significantly reduce development time, size and simplify application design. The power supply circuit of the BD71850MWV is specially designed for the power supply system of the i.MX 8M mini processor series, integrating six buck converters, six LDOs and control logic, so that the processor and the required DDR memory can be powered from a single chip powered by. Also built-in is a 1.8 V/3.3 V power switch for SDXC cards, as well as a 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator driver and multiple protection circuits such as output short circuit, output overvoltage/overcurrent and thermal shutdown. The 0.7 V to 3.3 V output enables 83%_ to 95%_ step-down conversion efficiency, and the wide 2.7 V to 5.5 V input voltage range supports multiple power sources from battery to USB, making it ideal for the i.MX 8M Nano app.
