High Intensity 0805 Infrared (IR) Emitter
Vishay's SurfLight™ emitters have peak wavelengths of 850 nm, 890 nm and 940 nm.

Built using Vishay's SurfLight™ surface emitter chip technology, these emitters operate over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +110°C.
Unlike conventional PCB packages that use fully transparent epoxy to embed the emitter chips, the opaque sidewalls of the VSMY5850X01, VSMY5890X01 and VSMY5940X01 prevent unwanted side-emissions that can create halo effects in camera images. Simplifies the design by eliminating the need for external barriers such as rubber rings. SurfLight devices emit nearly all of the light and power out of the top of the chip for higher intensities.
