The latest addition to the popular VIM family. It has a powerful Amlogic A311D SoC. Combines four Cortex® A73 performance cores (2.2 GHz) and two Cortex A53 efficiency cores (1.8 GHz) into a six-core configuration and is fabricated on a 12 nm process to maximize performance as well as thermoelectric efficiency.

VIM3 has the same design dimensions as VIM2 and VIM1. It's the size of a credit card and fits perfectly into Khadas' DIY box. Despite its small size, the VIM3 is competitively priced and has all the features built in.

Electronic signage developers can take advantage of a programmable MCU, MIPI-CSI for dual cameras, real-time clock, Wake-on-LAN capability, and a 3-axis gravity sensor to detect signage orientation during the design process. The M2X expansion board features NVMe SSD slot, Power over Ethernet (PoE), 100 Mbit Ethernet, 4G module slot, Nano SIM slot and GPIO.

The VIM3 SBC goes beyond what the original VIM model offered. It features an onboard 5.0 TOPS NPU for neural network applications, an M.2 slot for NVMe SSD, switchable between PCIe™ and USB 3.0 via Khadas KBI commands, and a 5 V to 20 V USB powered input 's USB-C™ port.
