The i.MX RT106A solution for AVS enables system designers to easily and affordably add voice control capabilities to a variety of smart appliance, smart home, smart retail and smart industry applications.

The i.MX RT106A solution features all far-field audio processing algorithms, including noise suppression, echo cancellation, beamforming and insertion, for use in acoustic environments. Also includes the Amazon Alexa client app and a machine learning inference engine for Alexa wake word recognition. This cost-effective, easy-to-use AVS implementation fosters the need for pervasive voice control embedded in a wide variety of products for home, commercial, and industrial applications. It eliminates the need to deploy dedicated stand-alone voice-controlled devices, such as smart speakers or smart displays.

The AVS solution is based on the i.MX RT1060 crossover processor family, which operates at up to 600 MHz to provide high CPU performance and advanced real-time response. The i.MX RT106A comes with a pre-integrated, fully certified Amazon voice assistant software solution.
