General Instructions
The AD9213 is a single 12-bit 6 GSPS/10.25 GSPS radio frequency (RF) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with 6.5GHz input bandwidth. AD9213 supports high dynamic frequency and wide time range applications
Instantaneous bandwidth and low conversion error rate (CER).
The AD9213 has a 16-channel JESD204B interface to support maximum bandwidth capability.
The AD9213 achieves dynamic range and linearity performance while consuming less than 4.6 W. The device is based on a staggered pipeline architecture with proprietary suppressed calibration and randomization techniques
Spurious artifacts interleave into its noise floor. Linearity The performance of the AD9213 is a combination of on-chip jitter and calibration, resulting in very good spurious-free performance conditions for a wide range of input signals
Applications that require less instantaneous bandwidth can benefit from the ability of the on-chip digital signal processing (DSP) AD9213 to reduce output data rates. DSP path includes digital downconverter (DDC)
Using a 48-bit Numerically Controlled Oscillator (NCO), the I/Q digital decimator stage is then decimated by a ratio of two to three factors that allows selection. For fast frequency hopping applications, the AD9213 NCO supports up to 16 profile settings with separate trigger inputs, allowing a wide range of monitoring frequencies to reduce the JESD204B lane count.
The AD9213 supports sample-accurate multi-chip synchronization including NCO synchronization. The AD9213 is available in a 192 ball grid array (BGA) package specified over the -20°C to +115°C junction temperature range.
