Their typical R DS(ON) of 54mΩ at 5 V reduces the voltage drop across the device, resulting in improved power dissipation and system performance. The TRCB of the AP22913 eliminates reverse current flow from output to input, which is a problem in USB applications where the load is powered externally or the rails have large capacitance. Slew rate control and TRCB mitigate inrush and reverse currents, allowing designers to choose the capacitor that best suits their application. The AP22913 is available in chip-scale X1-WLB0909-4 (AP22913CN4-7) and standard SOT26 (AP22913W6-7) packages.
