The E-series SPXOs offer ultra-low jitter and tight stability in a small package for networking applications with extremely high transfer rates. Epson's E-Series SPXOs achieve ultra-low jitter (50 fsRMS at 156.25 MHz) using a high frequency base (HFF) crystal and a unique low noise oscillator IC designed and manufactured by Epson. Their excellent jitter performance provides excellent eye diagrams for high-speed electrical and optical interfaces. To ensure stable performance in complex designs, Epson E-Series SPXOs include a low dropout (LDO) regulator to protect the clock from power supply noise.
