The AD5270/AD5271 are single-channel 1024/256-bit digital rheostats, respectively, combining industry-leading variable resistance performance with non-volatile memory (NVM) in a compact package.

These devices have an end-to-end resistance tolerance error of less than 1% and offer 50-time programmable (50-TP) memory.

Industry-leading guaranteed low resistance tolerance error characteristics simplify open-loop applications, as well as precision calibration and tolerance matching applications.

The wiper settings of the AD5270/AD5271 can be controlled through the SPI digital interface. An unlimited number of adjustments can be made before the resistance value is programmed into the 50-TP memory. These devices do not require any external voltage source to help blow the fuse and offer 50 long-term programming opportunities. During 50-TP activation, a long-term blow fuse command will hold the resistor in place (similar to putting epoxy on a mechanical trim).

The AD5270/AD5271 are available in 3 mm x 3 mm, 10-lead LFCSP and 10-lead MSOP packages. Extended industrial temperature range with guaranteed operating temperature range of ?40?C to %2B125?C.
