General Instructions
EVK-FUJI implements a non-isolated flyback converter designed for discontinuous operation
conduction mode. The regulation loop is the voltage control loop:
- The CHT-MAGMA component implements the control loop and generates local 5V (via
its internal voltage regulator) to drive its internal logic and external switches
transistor
-CHT-NMOS8001 MOSFET implements switching transistor. it offers the best
trade-offs between size, resistivity and switching losses;
- Use 3 additional CHT-NMOS8001 MOSFETs as diodes to perform rectification
in middle school
- Optionally, 2 CHT-VEGA can be implemented on the 5V output bus to generate
3.3V and 1.8V have enhanced regulation.
EVK-FUJI has 2 versions:
- EVK-VOL1088A: In this version, there are no regulators on the +3.3V and +1.8V outputs;
When the load on the different outputs changes as
Not more than ±50% of the nominal value;
-EVK-VOL1088B: In this version, the voltage regulator is used to generate +3.3V and +1.8V
output; this version should be used if load changes of different outputs will have an effect
vary widely, exceeding ±50% of the rated load value, or may reach
zero load condition.
EVK-FUJI is a flexible general-purpose platform that can be used in many DC-DC converters
Configuration beyond the default configuration. Especially the extra customization
Designs designed by FUJI can be considered to meet the following needs (please contact CISSODI
for such requests):
- Can use AC voltage output (default +5V) for flyback control
regulating loop;
- An isolated version can be implemented (instead of the non-isolated default topology);
-Continuous conduction mode can be implemented (instead of discontinuous conduction mode)
