FMH-461? – 0 to 40 Volt Input – 1.5 Amps | EMI Filters | High Reliability

The FMH-461 EMI filter is designed to reduce the input line reflected ripple current of high frequency Interpoint® DC-DC converters. A filter can be used with multiple converters up to the rated output current of the filter.

Filters can be standard screening, "ES" screening, or fully compliant with "883" MIL-PRF-38534 Class H screening. DLA drawings available.

MIL-STD Noise Management

When used with Interpoint converters, the FMH-461

EMI filter reduces input ripple current by 35db or more at 200khz

filter operation

The FMH-461 filter is rated for full power operation from -55°C to +125°C substrate temperature. Surgery is performed by an absolute maximum of ±135°C. See next page for "Recommended Operating Conditions". This maximum DC insertion loss (28 VDC) at full load and rated input voltage represents a power loss of less than 2%.

layout requirements

The filter housing must be connected to the converter housing with a low impedance connection to minimize EMI. one. MSA models may require an inductor in series with the positive input of the MSA. The recommended value is 2μH.
