DT100104 Secure Element Expansion Board MIKROE-1032
The DT100104 is an expansion board for the CryptoAuth Trust platform and other Microchip development platforms with mikroBUS™ connectors. The board supports the MikroElektronika header and can be connected to any development board with a mikroBUS™ connection. This board provides an alternative to sample units that require a socket board for initial development and testing. The ATECC608A Trust Development Board contains the Trust&GO, TrustFLEX and TrustCUSTOM security elements. This enables users to develop solutions using any of these security elements according to the requirements of the application. The user guide provides a visual overview of the connections and switch settings implemented on the board.
The ATECC608A is a secure element in the Microchip Crypto Authentication™ portfolio, featuring advanced Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) capabilities. With built-in ECDH and ECDSA, the device is ideal for the fast-growing IoT market as it can easily provide comprehensive security such as confidentiality, data integrity and identity to systems using MCU or GPU running encryption/decryption algorithms verify. Like all Microchip Crypto Authentication products, the ATECC608A employs ultra-secure hardware-based encryption key storage and encryption countermeasures, eliminating potential backdoors associated with software flaws. The device works directly with any microprocessor (MPU) or microcontroller (MCU) and is compatible with Microchip AVR®/Arm® MCUs or MPUs. Like all cryptographic authentication devices, the ATECC608A consumes very low power, requires only one GPIO, and supports a wide voltage range. The ATECC608A also has a small form factor, making it ideal for a variety of applications requiring long battery life and flexible form factors.
