A1693LKTN-RSNOBH-T Vibration Resistant Hall Effect Gearbox Speed and Direction Sensor
The A1693 is a magnetic sensor IC designed to measure the speed and direction of a rotating gearbox system. The device can measure ring magnets directly or with the magnet reverse biased to measure ferrous targets. The sensor contains three Hall-effect elements for differential sensing. These elements include analog signal conditioning with dynamic gain and offset adjustment, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and a digital processor that applies intelligent algorithms to prevent output switching in the event of detected target vibration.
The A1693 output is an open collector and requires a pull-up resistor. Each time a new magnetic state is detected, the output goes low for a pulse-width time to communicate forward, reverse, or non-directional (indeterminate direction). This sensor is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications and is available in a lead-free 4-pin single in-line package (SIP) with 100%_matte tin plating with lead frame plating.
