Image of Würth Elektroniks WSEN-PDUS Differential Pressure SensorWürth Elektroniks WSEN-PDUS series are differential pressure sensors that allow the measurement of pressure difference between two vertical pressure ports. The sensors consist of a MEMS-based piezoresistive sensing element and_an ASIC integrated on a ceramic substrate . On-chip calibration, temperature compensation, and_signal conditioning provide highly accurate pressure in both digital and_analog forms. Digital pressure data can be accessed by interfacing the sensor to the host controller via a digital I2C interface. Simple communication protocol enables easy integration of the software without the need for programming internal registers.

The sensors come in a variety of pressure ranges that can measure differential pressure up to 10 bars. They are intended to be used for non-corrosive gases such as air and_other dry gases. The sensors come in 13 mm x 8 mm x 7.5 mm reflow solderable surface mount package with two pressure ports on top, allowing flexible mounting.
