CeraCharge Battery Z62000Z2910Z01Z05
CeraCharge is the first solid-state rechargeable battery with compact SMD technology. Depending on the requirements, the battery can perform anywhere from a few dozen to as many as 1000 charge and discharge cycles. With its compact EIA 1812 package (4.5 mm x 3.2 mm x 1.1 mm), it has a capacitance of 100 μAh at 100 A and is rated at 1.4V. In addition to its 100 μA current rating, the battery is capable of delivering a few mA for short periods of time. Thanks to SMD technology, the placement of the battery becomes easy and it can be processed using reflow soldering technology, reducing the production cost of the final product.
Contrary to most common technologies, CeraCharge is a solid-state rechargeable battery with no liquid electrolyte. The cell is based on a multilayer technology similar to MLCC. This means combining higher energy density and minimal volume with the safety and high-volume manufacturing advantages of ceramic multilayer components.
