Overview
The LSM6DSOX is an in-package system equipped with a 3D digital accelerometer and 3D digital gyroscope that boosts performance by 0.55mA in high performance mode and provides consumers with an optimal exercise experience.
LSM6DSOX supports major operating system requirements, providing real, virtual and batch sensors for dynamic data batching. ST's range of MEMS sensor modules utilizes robust and proven manufacturing processes already used to produce micromachined accelerometers and gyroscopes. The various sensing elements are fabricated using a specialized micromachining process, while the integrated circuit interface is developed using a CMOS process, which allows a dedicated circuit to be designed to better match the characteristics of the sensing element.
The full-scale acceleration range of the LSM6DSOX is ±2/±4/±8/±16g, and the angular velocity range is ±125/±250/±500/±1000/±2000 DPS.
The LSM6DSOX fully supports both EIS and OIS applications, as the module includes dedicated configurable signal processing paths for OIS and auxiliary SPI, configurable for gyroscopes and accelerometers. The LSM6DSOXOIS can be configured from the secondary SPI and master interfaces (SPI/I 2 2 C & MIPI I3CSM).
High robustness to mechanical shock makes the LSM6DSOX the first choice for system designers to create and manufacture reliable products. The LSM6DSOX is available in a plastic Land Grid Array (LGA) software package.
