The XC9272 series are ultra-low consumption step-down synchronous rectification DC/DC converters with built-in 0.4Ω(TYP.) P-channel drive transistors and 0.4Ω(TYP.) N-channel synchronous rectification switching transistors for ceramic capacitors. The ultra-low current consumption is realized by adopting PFM control, and it is most suitable for equipment that places importance on high efficiency under light load and equipment that is concerned about battery life.

The external components only need to use the coil and the input and output 2 capacitors to realize the step-down DC/DC circuit. The working voltage range is from 2.0V to 6.0V. The output voltage is internally set and can be set within the range of 0.6V to 0.95V (accuracy ±20mV) at 0.05V intervals. By stopping the entire circuit in standby mode, the current consumption is kept below 0.1μA (TYP.).
Built-in UVLO (Under Voltage Lock Out) function, when the input voltage is lower than the UVLO voltage, the internal P-channel drive transistor is forcibly turned off. In addition, the UVLO release voltage is 1.8V (TYP.). With the CL discharge function (XC9272B type), during standby, the internal switch between VOUT and GND is turned on, and the CL charge is discharged through the internal resistance. This discharge function can quickly return the output voltage to the GND level.

The operating voltage range is 2.0V to 6.0V. This product has a fixed output voltage range of 0.6V to 0.95V (accuracy: ±20mV).

During standby, all circuits are turned off to reduce power consumption to 0.1µA (TYP.) or less.
With the built-in UVLO (Under Voltage Lockout) function, the internal P-channel MOS driver transistors are forced off when:

Products with CL discharge function, type XC9272B, can discharge the CL capacitor in standby mode due to internal reasons
The resistance is obtained by opening the internal switch between VOUT - GND. This allows the output voltage to quickly return to the GND level.
