Image of Traco Powers TEN 40E and_TEN 40WIE SeriesTRACO Powers next-generation 40 W DC/DC converters were developed to maximize performance, reliability, and_cost-efficiency in the industry-standard 2 x 1 footprint. Features include six-sided metal shielding, remote on /off, and_output voltage trim functions with certification to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 with either a 2:1 input (TEN 40E) or 4:1 input (TEN 40WIE) range.
Efficiencies up to 93%_allow minimal heat-loss and_a full-load convection-cooled operation of -40°C to +70°C ambient (model dependent) and_operation up to +85°C with derating. The MTBF has been extended to < 1.2 million hours according to MIL-HDBK-217F and_is protected against short circuit, overvoltage, and_overtemperature. Typical applications include industrial equipment, instrumentation, and_any distributed power architecture where space is critical on the PCB.
