The DS90LV049 is a dual CMOS flow-through differential line driver-receiver pair designed for applications requiring ultra-low power consumption, excellent noise immunity and high data throughput. The device uses low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) technology and supports data rates in excess of 400 Mbps.

The DS90LV049 driver accepts LVTTL/LVCMOS signals and converts them to LVDS signals. On the other hand, the receiver takes the LVDS signal and converts it to a 3 V CMOS signal. The LVDS input buffer has an internal failsafe bias that places the output in the known H (high) state of the floating receiver input. In addition, the DS90LV049 supports the TRI-STATE function, which enables a low idle power state when the device is not in use.

The EN and EN inputs are ANDed and control the TRI-STATE output. Enable is common to all four doors.
