???Product Description
The XTR25020 is a high temperature, high reliability smart power transistor driver designed to provide a robust, reliable, compact and efficient solution for driving a wide range of high temperature, high voltage and high efficiency power transistors. Drive normally-on and normally-off power transistors in Silicon Carbide (SiC), Gallium Nitride (GaN), and standard silicon, including JFETs, MOSFETs, BJTs, SJTs, and MESFETs. The XTR25020 includes a pull-up gate drive channel (capable of providing typical PU_DR with 3A peak current) and two pull-down gate drive channels (PD_DR and PD_MC) capable of sinking typical 3A peak current. The PD_DR channel is used for efficient turn-off of the power transistors, and the PD_MC channel is used due to its internal gate level detection on the Active Miller Clamp (AMC) function. The circuit features a soft-shutdown feature that slowly turns off the power transistors in the event of a fault. The XTR25020 is able to detect faults due to overcurrent in the power switch or UVLO detected on the power supply, in addition to implementing safe start-up and cross-conduction protection to ensure Safe operation at the system level. The XTR25020 can be used to extend the driver It can also be used with the XTR40010 to drive multiple power transistors connected in parallel for ultra-high power applications.
