Product Description

The XTR40010 implements a high temperature dual-channel (2 TX/RX) isolated data transceiver that can be used as a general-purpose isolated transceiver and is also ideal for isolated data communication between microcontrollers or PWM controllers with smart features. Power gate driver XTR26020. Galvanic isolation is achieved by an external high temperature 1:1 pulse transformer.

The XTR40010 integrates 2 transceivers (two full-duplex channels) in one package. To achieve 2 full duplex TX/RX isolation channels, 2 XTR40010s are required, one connected to one side of the transformer and one to the other. XTR260X0, XTR40010 allow only one instance of XTR260X0 to implement 2 full duplex TX/RX channels, in fact, XTR260X0 transceivers are fully compatible with XTR40010. Propagation delay (<120ns) and maximum noise margin are achieved even under harsh dV/dt conditions (2pF span across winding capacitance of 50kV/μs).
