The XTR50010 is a family of bidirectional level translators that can be used for data communication between devices or systems operating at different supply voltages.
The temperature range is -60°C to +230°C, and the supply voltage is 2.5V to 5.5V.
In the XTR50011 or XTR50012, the circuit automatically and independently senses the direction of communication between the An and Bn ports, allowing data to be transmitted in any direction simultaneously.
In the XTR50014 or XTR50015, the DIR logic level input is used to control the direction of data flow. The DIR input can be powered by VCCA or VCCB, which provides greater flexibility at the system level. Parts in the XTR50010 series provide rugged SMT and Through-hole package. Parts are also available as bare molds.

X-REL Semiconductor, the innovation leader in high-temperature, high-reliability semiconductors, has launched two new products for digital applications in demanding markets such as aerospace, industrial, hybrid and electric Automotive, transportation, geothermal and oil and gas sectors.
The XTR50010 product family is used for bidirectional data communication between data domains with different supply voltages. Allows data rates up to 30Mbps and operating temperatures in excess of +230°C. This product line is divided into two product lines depending on whether the data signal direction is selected individually or by group. The supply voltage range across the level shifter assembly is 2.5V to 5.5V. The transfer direction control pins can be controlled by either power supply domain.
Each data terminal can be input or output to a device that selects the direction of transmission of a single data signal. The transmission direction is automatically set according to which signal terminal is externally driven. This provides a great deal of flexibility in implementing a bidirectional data bus, eliminating the need for arbitrary user intervention to set the direction. The channel transmission direction is changed on the fly. Output enable control pins controlled from both sides allow setting the device to high impedance mode or driver. Products in this line are XTR50011 and XTR50012.
For devices whose data transmission direction is open for all signals at once, there is a dedicated control pin to select which end is input and which end is output. This direction control pin can be driven by either side. Products in this line are XTR50014 and XTR50015.
The second new product family to be introduced is the XTR54170, a positive edge D-type flip-flop product. Users may find two products in this series that are equivalent to the standard products. The first product is the quadruple D-type flip-flop XTR54175 with defined performance. The second product is the single D-type flip-flop XTR541G74 with set and reset.
These two new product families expand X-REL's innovative product portfolio with new design capabilities for high temperature, high reliability and extended life applications in interface and digital control as well as mixed-signal.
Like all X-REL semiconductor products, the XTR50010 and XTR54170 series are capable of reliable operation from -60°C to +230°C (5 years at +230°C). The product must operate not only in the application in a high temperature environment, but also in an environment in which other equipment in the system raises the temperature inside the application. In addition, all X-REL semiconductor products can also be operated at lower temperatures (such as 100°C to 200°C) that extend product life or do not tolerate operational failures. For example, the expected lifetime of X-REL semiconductor components is over 35 years when operating at a junction temperature (Tj) of 150°C.
The XTR50010 and XTR54170 families are already available in miniature hermetic or plastic packages as well as bare die for immediate niche (niche) and mass market use.
