Image of Richtek RT1025 Integrated AFE Solution Richtek's RT1025 is an integrated AFE solution for heart rate monitoring and measurement. The RT1025 integrates low-noise voltage and current detection channels and is capable of simultaneously sensing ECG (electrocardiogram) and PPG (photoplethysmography). With a dynamic range of >100 dB, the RT1025 can accurately sense the pulse by detecting the electrical signal of the heart. The RT1025's high-accuracy voltage and current sense channels are configurable with a sampling rate between 64 kHz and 4 kHz. The RT1025 solution requires only a few discrete components and is easy to use in low power medical ECG/PPG, sports and fitness applications. The RT1025 solution features high integration and high precision voltage and current sensing channels for scalable medical instrumentation systems. The RT1025 is available in a 3.1 mm x 3.4 mm 41-ball 0.4 mm pitch WL-CSP package.
The Daughter Board (DTB) is developed for all RT1025 pins to be pinned out to DIP pins. The daughter board includes the RT1025 and the required 32 kHz Xtal and passive components to quickly evaluate the RT1025's operation and performance. The detailed schematic, hardware and benchmark measurement steps are described in the datasheet. The daughter board is numbered PCB107_V1 and measures 3.3 cm x 3.3 cm.
