In Zhang Haitao's view, among the three major features of 5G technology, the most important feature is massive links, which will further promote the development of IoT, and "5G+AI+IoT" will achieve a system upgrade that changes society.

"With the support of 5G technology, sensors are used to perceive various information in the physical world, and then the AI processor performs information feature extraction, target recognition, semantic segmentation, scene understanding and other processes to finally form a decision and become a closed loop." Zhang Haitao further stated that at present, AI technology is being closely integrated with all walks of life to realize the empowerment of the industry.

For example, through "AI + robot", robots can form thinking, identify targets, and reason about target behaviors through a lot of learning and training. This has already had good application cases in some areas of cargo handling and logistics sorting.

In addition, "AI + UAV" can be widely used in traffic identification, high-altitude operations and smart agriculture. Such as aerial tracking of traffic targets, high-altitude inspection and analysis of abnormal behavior of power lines and key parts of poles, and taking photos of crops to identify weed species.
