The OPA2340UA family of rail-to-rail CMOS operational amplifiers is optimized for low-voltage, single-supply operation. Rail-to-rail input and output and high-speed operation make it ideal for driving sampling analog-to-digital (A/D) converters. They are also ideal for general purpose and audio applications, as well as providing I/V conversion at the output of digital-to-analog (D/A) converters. Single, dual and quad versions have the same specifications for design flexibility.

The OPA2340UA series operates from a single supply as low as 2.5V, and the input common-mode voltage range can be 500mV lower than ground and 500mV higher than the positive supply. The output voltage swings within 1mV of the supply rails with a 100kΩ load. These devices offer excellent dynamic response (BW=5.5MHz, SR=6V/μs) with only 750A of quiescent current. Dual- and quad-channel designs feature fully independent circuits for minimal crosstalk and no interaction.

The single (OPA2340UA) packages are tiny 5-lead SOT-23 surface mount, 8-lead SOIC surface mount and 8-lead DIP packages. The dual channel (OPA2340) is available in tiny 8-lead VSSOP surface mount, 8-lead SOIC surface mount and 8-lead PDIP packages. The quad (OPA4340) packages are space-saving 16-pin SSOP surface mount and 14-pin SOIC surface mount. All temperature ranges are -40°C to 85°C and operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. SPICE macromodels can be used for design analysis.
