PHUA8060-35A-33-000PiezoHapt? Actuator
The PHUA8060-35A-33PiezoHapt ultra-low profile actuator has an extremely short response time of just 4 ms. PiezoHapt uses a single-layer piezoelectric design, consisting of a multi-layer piezoelectric element bonded to one side of the vibrating plate. At just 0.35 mm thick, this haptic actuator has a thinner profile than conventional eccentric rotary motors and linear resonant actuators, and is one of the thinnest devices in the world. Thanks to its fast rise time, PiezoHapt represents a more energy-efficient solution than conventional solutions.
The actuator can also be driven by low voltages ≤24 V, producing a wide variety of vibration modes, depending on the magnitude and frequency of the voltage used. The PHUA8060-35A-33-000 device features an 80 mm x 60 mm footprint (vibration plate). The typical displacement of the device is 55 μm at 200 Hz (sine wave) frequency and 24 V peak voltage. PiezoHapt is an ideal device to provide haptic feedback for a variety of user actions on smartphones and tablets.
