M8 D-Code Ethernet Connector

Industrial equipment manufacturers have been following the trend of miniaturization, but they often cannot make their products smaller because the connectors required are too large. HARTING solves this problem with its new M8 D-coded product. The connector provides Fast Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) via a separate mini-interface that connects directly to the circuit board. This saves a lot of space for the end device.

To optimize the advantages of miniaturization, components not only need to be smaller - they also need to speak a single language end-to-end, right down to the last sensor. Ethernet and power are vital lifelines, but two separate connections are now a luxury of the past. This means that Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a key requirement for small devices. This is an advantage that the HARTING M8 D-code offers in a single connection, power and Ethernet.

The M8 D-Code is IP67 rated for harsh environments. In addition, the standardization of PAS IEC 61076-2-114 also makes it a safe investment, as it can be used in combination with connectors and sockets from various manufacturers.
