The MCP346x family are 1/2/4-channel, 16-bit, sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with programmable data rates up to 153.6kSPS. They feature integrated features such as internal oscillators, temperature sensors, and burnout sensor detection to reduce system component count and overall solution cost. These devices feature a 20 MHz SPI compatible serial interface. Communication is greatly simplified using 8-bit commands, including various sequential read/write modes and multiple 16-bit/32-bit data formats accessible via direct memory access (DMA) of an 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit MCU.

The MCP3561/2/4 are 1/2/4 channel, 24-bit, delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with programmable data rates up to 153.6 kSPS. They feature integrated features such as an internal oscillator, temperature sensor, and burnout sensor detection to reduce overall design cost. The MCP3461/2/4 ADCs are fully configurable with an oversampling ratio (OSR) of 32 to 98304 and a gain range of 1/3X to 64X. These devices include an internal sequencer (SCAN mode) with multiple supervisory channels and a 24-bit timer that can automatically create a sequence of conversion loops without MCU communication. Advanced security features such as CRC and register map locks ensure configuration lockout and integrity of the secure environment and communication data integrity. The devices are specified over the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and are available in a 3 mm x 3 mm UQFN-20 package.
