Expands its wide range of current compensated choke coils to introduce high current versions suitable for PCB mounting. The DKIH series now offers a nanocrystalline toroidal core with 8 times higher inductance performance than a ferrite core version of the same compact size. This new product is designed for single-phase and three-phase applications with current ratings from 10 amps to 50 amps. Due to their open frame design, these chokes are lightweight and compact, ideal for suppressing EMI noise caused by power applications on the PCB.

Like other electronic designs, today's power supply sections are built on printed circuit boards using discrete components. With the trend of integrating components to achieve smaller and smaller form factors, thermal issues and high currents on the PCB can become challenges. Traditional block filters may well address these challenges, but their larger package size also introduces new challenges for limited space; therefore, mounting asymmetric active common mode chokes and capacitors on the PCB is a better solution.

DKIH-1

The DKIH-1 series is designed for single-phase AC or DC applications with current ratings from 10 A to 50 A. Components are designed and certified according to IEC 60938, UL 1283 and CSA 22.2 No.8 standards. All models are rated for 300 VAC (IEC, UL), 250 VAC (CSA) and 425 VDC.

DKIH-3

The DKIH-3 series is suitable for three-phase applications with current ratings from 10 A to 50 A. Current compensation chokes comply with IEC 60938 standard. Rated at 600 VAC, it is suitable for most applications.

DKIH-4

The new DKIH-4 series is suitable for three-phase applications with a current rating of 10 A to 40 A with neutral. Current compensation chokes comply with IEC 60938 standard. Rated at 500 V AC or 760 VAC, it is suitable for almost any application.

These current compensating chokes are compact, lightweight and easy to insert onto printed circuit boards and make contact via push-on contacts (THT). Chokes are designed for a wide temperature range of -40°C to +100°C.
