ATWILC1000-SD Evaluation Kit
The ATWILC1000-SD evaluation kit is a hardware platform for evaluating the ATWILC1000-MR110PB module. The ATWILC1000-SD is based on the SmartConnect WILC1000 IEEE 802.11 b/g/n IoT (Internet of Things) link controller module. The device is an ideal plug-in to existing MCU solutions, adding Wi-Fi connectivity via the SPI/SDIO to Wi-Fi interface. The WILC1000 can be connected to any AVR or SMART MCU with minimal resource requirements. The most advanced mode of the WILC1000 is the single-stream 1x1 802.11n mode, which provides up to 72 Mbps PHY throughput. The WILC1000 has a fully integrated power amplifier, low noise amplifier, switching and power management. WILC1000 provides various peripheral interfaces including UART, SPI, SDIO and I2C. The only external clock source required by the WILC1000 is a high-speed crystal or oscillator that supports various reference clock frequencies (between 12 MHz and 32 MHz).
The ATWILC1000-MR110xB modules are low power IEEE 802.11 b/g/n IoT modules optimized for low power IoT applications. The ATWILC1000-MR110xB modules have a small size (21.7 mm x 14.7 mm x 2.1 mm) while fully integrating a power amplifier (PA), low noise amplifier (LNA), transmit/receive circuit (T/R), switching and power management. The ATWILC1000-MR110PB includes a PCB antenna, while the ATWILC1000-MR110UB module includes a u.FL connector for an external antenna. With advanced security, the device is interoperable with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n access points from various vendors in wireless LANs. The rich feature set of the ATWILC1000-MR110xB Wi-Fi module makes it suitable for any low-power IoT application.
