Position switches are used where moving parts of machines and plants must be positioned, controlled and monitored. Various fields of application, from precision machinery to heavy machinery, require different quality standards for materials, capacitances and related structures.

Many of these position switches meet the requirements of the IEC 60947-5-1 standard. Position switches with safety functions are suitable for sliding, hinged and especially detachable safety guards that need to be closed to ensure the necessary operational safety. All position switches with safety functions, with suitable protective door monitors, achieve the highest PL-e level according to EN ISO 13849-1 and the SIL 3 level according to EN 62061.

The protective device and the positive circuit breaker NC contact are positively connected on the position switch and have a safety function. Different applications require different solutions.
