Since the introduction of the 3 x 2 25 W to 65 W EPS-25/35/45S/65S series, MEAN WELL has achieved 120 W in a 3 x 2 PCB size through technological breakthroughs, and now proudly introduces ultra-high power density small EPP -120S series. Due to the trend towards miniaturization of end equipment, the demand for smaller built-in PCB-type power supplies has continued to increase.
The EPP-120S series is the only industrial 3x 2 PCB type power supply on the market that can operate up to 120 W under free air convection. Other 3 x 2 PCB style power supplies reach a maximum power rating of 100 W without external fan cooling. Other EPP-120S features include small size (3x 2), 150 W peak load capability for 10 seconds, wide operating temperature range -30°C - +85°C, no-load power consumption <0.3 W, and efficiency up to 94% _ and a working height of up to 5000 meters. In addition, the EPP-120S is compatible with Class I (with FG) and Class II (without FG) installations, making the power supply suitable for installation in plastic and metal enclosures, saving system designers time and cost in EMI debugging.
