The latest generation of medical PCB power supplies, the RPS series, responds to the ever-expanding market demand for miniaturized PCB-type medical power supplies, and is therefore very popular as soon as it is launched. To this end, MEAN WELL has released the ultra-high power density RPS-120S model series, expanding the 3” x 2” product of the RPS series to 120 W, which is higher than the previously released 30 W~65 W RPS-30/45/65 .

The EPP-120S series is the only industrial 3” x 2” PCB type power supply on the market with power up to 120 W under free air convection. Other 3” x 2” PCB style power supplies have a maximum power rating of 100 W without external fan cooling. Additional features of the RPS-120S include 2xMOPP isolation level for Type BF applications, 150 W peak load capability for 10 seconds, -30°C to +85°C operating temperature range, no-load power consumption <0.3 W, and efficiency up to 94% , the working height can reach 4000 meters. Additionally, the EPP-120S is compatible with Class I (with FG) and Class II (without FG) installations, making the power supply suitable for installation in plastic and metal enclosures, saving system designers time and money on EMI debugging. The RPS-120S is suitable for all types of medical applications that require low leakage current and low standby power consumption, such as medical diagnostic equipment, blood analysis instruments, medical monitoring equipment, etc.
