CC3235SF12RGKR Wi-Fi Single-Chip Wireless MCU Solution
The CC3235x dual-band wireless microcontroller (MCU) devices are available in two variants: CC3235S and C3235SF. The CC3235S provides 256 KB of RAM, IoT network security, device identification/key, and MCU-level security features such as file system encryption, user IP (MCU image) encryption, secure boot and debug security. The CC3235SF is built on the CC3235S and integrates a user-dedicated 1 MB executable flash memory in addition to 256 KB of RAM.
The SimpleLink Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ CC3235x MCU family is a dual-band, wireless system-on-chip (SoC) solution that simplifies user designs by integrating two processors in a single chip. The Arm® Cortex®-M4 MCU application processor provides user-dedicated 256 KB RAM and optional 1 MB executable flash memory. The network processor runs the Wi-Fi and Internet logic layers. This ROM-based subsystem offloads the host MCU, including 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios, baseband and MAC with powerful hardware encryption engine.
These MCU devices provide functionality that simplifies IoT connectivity. These features include 802.11a (5 GHz support), BLE/2.4 GHz radio coexistence, antenna selection, enhanced security, concurrent secure sockets (up to 16), Certificate Signing Request (CSR), Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) , Fast Improved Scanning and Hostless Mode for offloading template packet transfers.
The CC3235x devices are part of the SimpleLink MCU platform. This easy-to-use, general-purpose development environment is based on a single-core software development kit (SDK) with a rich toolset and reference designs. The E2E™ community supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth low energy, sub-1 GHz and host MCUs.
