The LM4951 is an audio power amplifier designed primarily for demanding applications in portable handheld devices. It is capable of delivering a single BTL of 1.8W into an 8Ω load with continuous average power with less than 1% distortion (THD+N) from a 7.5VDC supply.

Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed to provide high quality output power with minimal external components. The LM4951 requires no bootstrap capacitors or snubber circuits.

The LM4951 adopts a low power active low shutdown mode. In addition, the LM4951 has an internal thermal shutdown protection mechanism.

The LM4951 contains advanced click and pop circuits that eliminate noise that would otherwise occur on open and close transitions.

The LM4951 is unity gain stable and can be configured with external gain setting resistors.
