Overview:

CN3152 is an integrated circuit that can perform constant current/constant voltage charging management for single-cell lithium batteries. The device includes a power transistor internally and does not require external current-sense resistors and blocking diodes. CN3152 requires very few peripheral components and is very suitable for portable applications. CN3152 constant voltage charging voltage is 4.2V, and the accuracy is 1%. The charge current is set by an external resistor. The thermal modulation circuit can control the chip temperature within a safe range when the power consumption of the device is relatively large or the ambient temperature is relatively high. When the input voltage is powered down, the CN3152 automatically enters a low-power sleep mode, and the current consumption of the battery is less than 3 microamps. Other features include low input voltage latch, automatic recharge, chip enable input, battery temperature monitoring and status indication. The CN3152 is available in a thermally enhanced 8-pin Small Outline Package (SOP8).
