STMicroelectronics VIPer26K 1050 V High Voltage Converter for Ultra-Wide Input Meets Stringent Energy Efficiency Standards

Image of STMicroelectronic's VIPER26K High Voltage Converter STMicroelectronics' VIPer26 is a high voltage converter that cleverly integrates a 1050 V avalanche resistant power section with PWM current mode control. 1050 V-BV power MOSFET extends input voltage range and reduces drain sink circuit size. This IC complies with the strictest power-saving standards because it consumes very low power and operates in burst mode at light loads.

Integrated high voltage start-up, senseFET, error amplifier and oscillator with jitter allow designers to design complete applications with minimal components.

VIPer26K supports most common SMPS topologies such as isolated flyback with optocoupler, primary side regulation, non-isolated flyback with resistive feedback, buck, buck boost topologies.
