Product Description

The MPM3810 is a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter module with built-in internal power MOSFETs and inductors. It is designed to simplify power system design and provide ease of use. The DC-DC module is available in a small surface mount 3mm x 2.5mm x 0.9mm QFN package. It can reach a peak output current of 1.2 amps over an input voltage range of 2.5 volts to 6 volts with good load and line regulation. The output voltage can be adjusted down to 0.6V, and for an adjustable output, only the input and output capacitors and FB resistors are needed to complete the design. The constant-on-time control scheme provides fast transient response and simplifies loop stabilization. Fault state protection includes cyclic current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MPM3810 is ideal for a variety of applications, including high-performance DSPs, FPGAs, PDAs, portable instruments and memory.
