Product Description

The NB671A is a fully integrated high frequency synchronous rectified step-down switch-mode converter. It provides a very compact solution to achieve 6A continuous output current and 9A peak current over a wide input supply range with excellent load and line regulation. The NB671A operates efficiently over a wide output current load range. Constant On Time (COT) control mode provides fast transient response and simplifies loop stability. Undervoltage lockout is internally set to 4.6 V, and an open-drain power good signal indicates that the output is within its rated voltage range. Complete protection features include OCP, OVP and thermal shutdown. The converter requires a minimal number of external components and is available in a QFN16 (3mmx3mm) package.
