Atmel? Programming Logic Device ATF1502AS-7JX44 is a high performance, high density complex programmable logic device (CPLD) using Atmel's proven electrically erasable technology. With 32 logic macrocells and up to 36 inputs, it can easily integrate logic from multiple TTL, SSI, MSI, LSI and classic plds. The enhanced routing switch matrix of the programming logic device ATF1502AS-7JX44 increases the number of gates available and the odds of a successful latch design modification. The programming logic device ATF1502AS-7JX44 has up to 32 bidirectional I/O pins and 4 dedicated input pins, depending on the type of device package selected. Each dedicated pin can be used as a global control signal, register clock, register reset, or output enable. Each control signal can be individually selected for use in each macrocell. Each of these 32 macro cells generates a hidden feedback that feeds back to the global bus. Each input and I/O pin also feeds the global bus. The switch matrix in each logic block then selects 40 individual signals from the global bus. Each macrocell also generates a wrap-around logic item that points to a local bus. The macrocell cascade logic in the ATF1502AS(L) allows the rapid and efficient generation of complex logic functions. The programming logic device ATF1502AS-7JX44 contains four such logic chains, each capable of creating fan-in summation logic with up to 40 product terms.
