Product Description

The MP2225 is a high-efficiency synchronous rectification step-down switching converter with built-in power MOSFETs. It provides a very compact solution with up to 5A output current over a wide input range with excellent load and line regulation. The MP2225 uses a synchronous mode of operation to achieve higher efficiency over the full load range. Current control mode provides fast transient response and makes the loop easier to stabilize. Comprehensive protection includes overcurrent protection and overtemperature protection. The MP2225 is available in a space-saving 8-pin TSOT23 package, minimizing the use of existing standard external components.
