Supply operational amplifier TLV2252AIDR
The TLV2252 and TLV2254 are dual and quadruple low voltage operational amplifiers from Texas Instruments. Both devices show rail-to-rail output performance that improves dynamic range in single-supply or shunt-powered applications. The TLV225x family consumes only 34µA of supply current per channel. This micro-powered operation makes them a good choice for battery-powered applications. This series is fully characterized at 3v and 5v and is suitable for low voltage applications. Noise performance has been significantly improved compared to previous generations of CMOS amplifiers. The TLV225x has a noise level of 19 nV/√Hz at 1kHz, four times that of competing micropower solutions.
The TLV225x features high input impedance and low noise, making it suitable for small-signal conditioning of high-impedance sources such as piezoelectric transducers. Due to the micropower levels combined with 3-V operation, these devices work well in handheld monitoring and remote sensing applications. Additionally, the rail-to-rail output characteristics of a single supply or shunt supply make this series an excellent choice when interfacing with analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). For precision applications, the TLV225xA family and a maximum input offset voltage of 850µV are available.
The TLV2252/4 is also a major upgrade to the TLV2322/4 in the standard design. They provide greater output dynamic range, lower noise voltage and lower input offset voltage. This enhanced feature set allows them to be used in a wider range of applications. For applications requiring higher output drivers and wider input voltage ranges, see the TLV2432 and TLV2442 devices. If your design requires a single amplifier, see the TLV2211/21/31 series. These devices are single rail-to-rail op amps in a SOT-23 package. Their small size and low power consumption make them ideal for high-density battery-powered devices.
