Xilinx Corporation announced today that it has established a network of Authorized Training Partners (ATPs) in the Asia Pacific region to provide world-class FPGA design courses to electronic design engineers throughout the region. Over the past year, 8 ATPs have opened 22 training sites in 10 countries, offering training on Xilinx's latest programmable silicon solutions including the Virtex-4 and Spartan-3 90nm FPGA families, The total capacity can reach to train more than 200 engineers per day or *_50000 engineers per year. Each ATP currently offers 19 international standard design courses covering FPGA, CPLD, VHDL/Verilog languages, DSP, embedded processing, serial connectivity and PCI solutions. The choice to work with these ATPs stems from their outstanding technical training records, high-quality training facilities, and experienced trainers in programmable technology, software, and system-level design.

Design engineers can use a free online skills assessment to determine which courses are right for them. They can then enroll directly with the ATP and pay for the course, or if their company has purchased the Xilinx Productivity Advantage (XPA) package, enroll with the included training benefits.
