Product Description

The NB675 provides a complete power supply for DDR3, DDR3L and LPDDR2 memory with the highest power density. It integrates a high frequency synchronous rectified buck switch mode converter (VDDQ) with 1.5a sink/source LDO (VTT) and buffered low noise reference (VTTref). The fully integrated buck converter is capable of delivering 10A continuous output current and 12A peak output current over a wide input supply range with good load and line regulation. Buck converters use a constant-on-time (COT) control scheme that provides fast transient response and simplifies loop stabilization. The VTT LDO provides 1.5A sink/source current capability with only 10uF ceramic capacitors. vttref tracks vddq/2 with up to 1% accuracy. Undervoltage lockout is internally set to 4.5 volts. An open-drain power good signal indicates that VDDQ is within its rated voltage range. Complete protection features include OCP, OVP and thermal shutdown. This part requires a minimum number of external components, available in a QFN21 (3MMX4mm) package.
